Recently, Camille has started her climbing phase … currently limited to boxes in the living room. Given how quick she masters things, I assume that’s a limited cute phase before she tries any death-defying stunts.

She’s all over everything, pretty constantly … we’ve got gates set up on the stairs, to the bedroom, and now going to the kitchen. This still leaves her a large area of living room + dining room to be a free-range Camille in … and keeps her from destroying the kitchen or the plants in the bedroom [for the most part]. With her current speed, and amazing destructive abilities - this is an inconvenient, but necessary reality. I’ll be happy when they come down - but am happy to avoid teaching her `no’ a million times a day. I’m sure that will change …

I got this photo the other day when playing - and with the light behind her head she looks the little angel I consider her most of the time.

Camille and I have invented many games of late, one of the cutest being her trying on my hat [and it's quick removal]. I got these photos the other day, Camille is demonstrating her cuteness quite effectively.

And after getting it off …

Camille is an absolute blast to play with, we have all sorts of silly fun all day long. Despite being tiring to keep up with her hour after hour … she makes it all worthwhile when we stumble on a game like this and her huge smiles come out.
This last picture is blurry, but it shows her `fun face’ well.

Well, loyal blog readers - it’s been a while. Since Camille got mobile and standing up against things, it’s been tough to get much done other than the basics. She seems quite fond of grabbing my computer mouse, and appears to have realized that if she grabs that it will stop Daddy’s computering for a while. It’s been an effective tactic.
This week marked another set of big advances for Camille
Earlier this week she got tooth #3 and #4 in [the top two center].
Along with that, she slept through the night for the first time in months - a hopeful advance that we hope continues.
She also took a few steps, unassisted, yesterday … and repeated the trick when Mommy came home and since. She’s not running across rooms [yet], or going for long distances - but after nearly two months of walking with our help, she did it all by herself.
We’re both proud, and thrilled, to see these big advances.

A few weeks back, Camille was baptized.

Her first ice cream cake, a shame she couldn’t eat it yet.

As with everything she does, she was quite a trooper and made it a great time. Camille’s Aunt Katherine and her Uncle Matt [she has two Uncle Matts!] served as godparents, and we’re happy to have them.

Having fun with Mommy while waiting

Action shot!

Of course, she was the star of the party after; where she was eager to share her two-toothed smiles.

At the party, she demonstrated some of her musical talents with the help of her Uncle Matt [the other Uncle Matt ... this is going to get confusing]

The other week, I took some pictures of Camille playing with a tennis ball. Given Kris is quite a tennis player, it’s a wonderful sight to see her having fun with the balls [a racquet would make me scared, and likely to put on a helmet to protect my head].

As always, Camille was full of many expressions - it’s amazing how early she’s learned to be expressive with her face. Perhaps, as usual, I went overboard on the photos … with so many good ones it’s too hard to choose.
